Bronze Plan
Plan Overview
The MPRP Health Insurance Bronze Plan provides healthcare coverage within the Malta & Schengen area , with an overall maximum limit of €100,000 per policy year.
In-Patient and Day-Care Treatment
Full refund of reasonable charges for:
Accommodation and ancillary services, including medicines, consumables, food, and nursing
Rehabilitation following a surgical intervention on the recommendation of a specialist
Parent accommodation when staying with a child under 16
Operating theatre charges, drugs, dressings, surgical appliances, and prostheses
Surgeon’s and anaesthetist’s charges
Consulting physician’s charges, including pathology, radiology, diagnostic tests, and physiotherapy
Pregnancy and childbirth complications
Treatment of psychiatric illnesses (subject to a 12-month moratorium from the date of joining)
Road ambulance charges
Cancer Treatment
Consultant oncologist fees and hospital charges for cancer tests, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy
Oncology-related CT scans, MRI scans, and PET scans
Out-Patient Treatment
General practitioner and specialist consultations, diagnostic tests, physiotherapy (up to 15 sessions per treatment) – up to €1,000 per year
Alternative therapy (osteopathy, homeopathy, acupuncture, chiropractic treatment)
Out-patient CT, MRI, and PET scans – up to €1,000 per year
Prescribed drugs and dressings – up to €125 per year
Home nursing following a surgical intervention – up to €300 per week, up to 26 weeks per year
