Introduction
Welcome to Laferla Group's (“Laferla”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) website and application (“Platform”). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

About Us
Laferla Insurance Agency Limited is registered in Malta under company number C14529 with its registered office at 204A, Vincenti Buildings, Old Bakery Street, Valletta. Laferla holds an insurance agency license issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority.
Our digital services, including this Platform, are provided by Laferla Digital OÜ and Laferla Insurance Agency Limited.
Scope of Services
Our Platform enables Customers, as well as their delegated users, to access:
Insurance-related services as an agent for multiple insurance risk carriers.
Various third-party services which Laferla Customers may sign up to, through the Platform, directly with external service providers. Some of these services may be accessed from the external service provider solely through Laferla’s Platform; whilst others may be accessible directly through the platform(s) offered by the service provider.
When using third-party services facilitated by Laferla, their terms and privacy policies apply.
Our Platform also enables Third-Parties such as integral service providers (such as, but not limited to, medical professionals, clinics & hospitals, third-party administrators, group administrators, affiliates and business introducers), as well as delegated users, to create and account and access portals which facilitate the administration of our relationship with them as a service provider.
Acceptance of Third-Party Terms
Where the Platform facilitates services provided by third parties, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of those service providers. Laferla isnot responsible for the performance of third-party services.
Use of the Platform
You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age and a resident of the European Union to use our Platform.
If you are not a resident of the European Union, but you are in the process of obtaining residency within the European Union, you must provide documentation to prove this. In this case, you will be allowed to use the Platform for a maximum of three (3) months, during which time you must update your account to provide your EU Residence Card/Permit.
You must ensure your login credentials remain secure. Unauthorised access resulting from your failure to secure credentials is your responsibility.
Laferla’s platform offers multiple methods of multi-factor authentication for security purposes. You are encouraged to enable multi-factor authentication on your account. Unauthorised access resulting from your failure to enable multi-factor authentication is your responsibility.
You must provide accurate information when using the Platform and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Your use of the Platform must comply with applicable laws and regulations.
You must not use the Platform for any illegitimate reasons or for any reasons that may in any way, shape or form, harm the Laferla Group or any of its stakeholders.
You must not perform any illegitimate actions, or any actions that may in any way, shape or form, harm the Laferla Group or any of its stakeholders, on the Platform.
By utilising the Platform, you agree to our Privacy Policy and other relevant Terms & Conditions, if applicable.
Liability
Laferla will not be liable for interruptions or inaccuracies caused by third-party services integrated into the Platform.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Maltese law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
Online Purchasing & Refund Policy
If any of the information you have provided us with is incorrect and results ina wrong premium computation, we reserve the right to charge you for the difference or cancel the products or services purchased.
Insurance Policy Applications – Cancellation Period
If you are not entirely satisfied with the protection provided by the policy, you have a right to cancel the said insurance policy which you have purchased within 14 days of the date of issue or receipt of the terms and conditions, provided you would not have lodged a claim under the policy. Wewill refund you the policy premium you have paid but not the government stamp duty.
Event-specific Policies such as, but not limited to, travel insurance or event liability insurance, if the departure date or event date is within 14 days from date of issue or receipt of the terms and conditions.
Health Insurance Policies taken out to satisfy legal obligations, including requirements under a Residence Permit or Single Permit application in the EU.
Insurance Policy Applications - Risk Acceptance Rights
We reserve the right not to accept an insurance policy application, even if such application was automatically processed and an insurance policy was issued through our Platform. In this case, we will advise you within 7 business days that your application has not been accepted, and we will issuea full refund in this case. We are under no obligation to explain our decision to decline any insurance policy application.
Any refunds will be made on the same credit/debit card that was used to purchase the policy.
No Advice
The Platform contains expressions of opinion, information, and material about our product range and services; however, nothing on the Platform amounts to or should be considered to amount to advice.
Laferla does not offer any services on an advisory basis.
